About The Position

CookUnity is seeking a Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join their Growth Marketing team. This role will be responsible for the strategy, execution, and roadmap for increasing subscriber engagement, improving retention, and growing customer lifetime value. The ideal candidate will leverage customer behavior and business priorities to make strategic decisions about audience segmentation, customer journeys, and experimentation. Strong CRM skills are essential for guiding execution and bringing high-impact ideas to market. CookUnity is a platform that connects consumers with chefs, delivering chef-crafted meals and expanding into a marketplace to empower chefs globally.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or retention for consumer businesses.
  • Meaningful experience in a subscription or marketplace model with scaled customer audiences.
  • Track record of setting lifecycle priorities and leading programs that measurably improve retention, repeat purchasing, or LTV.
  • Confidence working with cohort analysis, segmentation, experimentation, and customer economics.
  • Strong knowledge of email, SMS, push, and in-app CRM.
  • Hands-on experience with Braze or a comparable platform.
  • Ability to align cross-functional partners, communicate trade-offs clearly, and make persuasive recommendations.
  • Strong prioritization and project leadership skills.
  • High bar for customer experience.
  • Ability to adjust direction as evidence and business needs change.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Tableau, Mixpanel, SQL, or other analytics tools.
  • Experience designing automated or AI-assisted marketing workflows.
  • Mentoring teammates or leading complex cross-functional initiatives experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the quarterly lifecycle roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on subscriber needs, cohort performance, and commercial opportunity.
  • Set and achieve goals for churn, order frequency, and LTV in collaboration with Growth leadership and Data.
  • Shape customer segmentation and personalization strategies using lifecycle stage, ordering patterns, engagement, and churn signals.
  • Define how email, SMS, push, and in-app experiences work together to encourage repeat ordering and strengthen subscriber relationships.
  • Own a hypothesis-led learning agenda for messaging, journeys, offers, and contact frequency, partnering with Data on test design and analysis.
  • Partner with Product, Data, Portfolio, Brand, and Engineering to address subscriber friction and identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead lifecycle performance reviews, presenting findings, insights, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Guide standards for journey design, measurement, and execution quality, prioritizing AI-assisted workflows and automation.
