About The Position

Greenbrook Medical is seeking a Senior Manager, Learning & Development to own the programs, systems, and execution that help team members learn, grow, and deliver excellent care. This role involves building and running the operational infrastructure behind training programs, partnering closely with the Head of L&D, and owning end-to-end program management from design to delivery and iteration. The ideal candidate is energized by building functional systems, proactively solving problems, and enabling team member success through well-designed processes. This is a high-ownership, high-execution role within a growing healthcare organization focused on senior primary care.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in learning and development, building programs, or adult learning.
  • Experience owning L&D operations in a fast-growing organization, including managing learning systems, documentation, stakeholder partnerships, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Strong facilitation skills: comfortable leading sessions without a script.
  • Instructional design fluency: understanding of adult learning principles and ability to design accordingly.
  • Data-literate: ability to use metrics to inform progress and make decisions.
  • Proficiency with tools like Notion, Lattice, or similar.
  • Self-starter with ownership mindset: able to independently identify needs, move work forward, and operate effectively in a fast-changing environment without heavy direction.
  • Operational focus: ability to manage the details of building and delivering learning programs and set up supporting systems.
  • Ability to manage up well: keeping stakeholders informed, flagging issues early, and articulating needs for success.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and facilitate onboarding sessions for new hires across the organization.
  • Support hiring managers to ensure new hires feel prepared before their first day.
  • Maintain organized and current onboarding documentation in systems like Notion.
  • Lead the discovery, build, and delivery of new training sessions to improve the onboarding program over time.
  • Support clinic-based Training & Enablement Leads in role-specific learning experiences.
  • Own the design and delivery of core L&D programs.
  • Iterate and facilitate train-the-trainer programs for clinic-based Training & Enablement Leads.
  • Build video libraries, SOPs, and job aids in Notion for easy knowledge sharing.
  • Grow the training library, including building and improving programs like customer service training.
  • Maintain organized and easily accessible People team resources in Notion.
  • Make data-informed recommendations for using knowledge management to improve team performance.
  • Support the setup and rollout of development plans in Lattice, track completion, and partner with HRBP on delivery.
  • Partner with HRBP to use data for informing and prioritizing programs and learning experiences.
  • Use data to justify the development, modification, or discontinuation of programs.
  • Support the setup and ongoing management of Lattice, including development plans, 1:1 tracking, and performance cycle logistics.
  • Partner to identify and build out the learning management system.
