About The Position

The Senior Manager, ServiceNow Platform Owner leads the strategy, operational health, governance, and secure evolution of the enterprise Now Platform in support of aerospace manufacturing, engineering, supply-chain, and defense-related operations. This leader connects digital technology strategy with business outcomes, oversees a global product-delivery model, and ensures the platform is reliable, scalable, compliant, and positioned to deliver measurable value across regulated environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 12 years prior experience, Graduate Degree with 10 years prior experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
  • 12 or more years of enterprise IT experience, including at least five years leading or managing enterprise-scale ServiceNow platforms in regulated, complex, or highly controlled environments.

  • Demonstrated experience owning a platform roadmap, demand portfolio, operating model, and delivery governance across multiple ServiceNow products or business domains.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, ITSM, CMDB, CSDM, integrations, upgrade management, access controls, and secure platform-governance practices.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, information security, finance, and executive stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
  • Working knowledge of regulated-environment controls, including audit readiness, evidence management, role-based access, data classification, change control, and separation of duties.
  • Strong strategic planning, financial management, vendor management, communication, and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate complex platform tradeoffs for executive audiences.

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, government contracting, advanced manufacturing, or another highly regulated industry with complex operational and data-protection requirements.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist, Certified Master Architect, or other relevant advanced ServiceNow credentials.
  • ITIL 4 Managing Professional or Strategic Leader, Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or comparable governance and leadership certification.
  • Experience with Strategic Portfolio Management, Integrated Risk Management, IT Operations Management, Asset Management, service mapping, or enterprise service-management transformation.
  • Experience governing integrations with ERP, engineering, manufacturing, identity, cloud, monitoring, and collaboration platforms, such as SAP, Azure DevOps, Splunk, and approved enterprise APIs.
  • Experience supporting control frameworks associated with ITAR, DFARS, NIST, SOX, ITGC, or similar contractual, cybersecurity, and audit obligations.
  • Experience leading global platform teams, supplier relationships, and large-scale organizational change across geographically distributed sites.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance rapid delivery, standardization, security, compliance, and user experience while preserving a sustainable, upgradeable ServiceNow platform.

Responsibilities

  • Own the multi-year ServiceNow platform strategy, roadmap, investment priorities, and operating model, aligning platform capabilities to enterprise digital transformation, aerospace manufacturing, engineering, and service-delivery objectives.
  • Lead demand intake, portfolio planning, backlog prioritization, and resource allocation across ITSM, Strategic Portfolio Management, Asset Management, Integrated Risk Management, CMDB, and related operational workflows.
  • Establish platform governance, architecture guardrails, change-control practices, CSDM alignment, development standards, and release-management disciplines that protect platform health and upgrade readiness.
  • Define secure upgrade cycles, feature rollouts, and controlled adoption approaches for emerging capabilities, including automation, AI, and Virtual Agent, in accordance with approved risk, security, and data-governance requirements.
  • Maintain accountability for CMDB quality, service data, configuration integrity, and technical-data protection across distributed sites, systems, and approved integrations.
  • Partner with information security, legal, compliance, and internal audit teams to support applicable ITAR, DFARS, NIST, SOX, ITGC, export-control, and contractual control requirements without weakening least-privilege access or auditability.
  • Lead and develop global, multidisciplinary teams of architects, developers, administrators, analysts, and product specialists; establish clear performance expectations, delivery practices, and technical decision rights.
  • Manage strategic relationships with software vendors and implementation partners, including service-level performance, licensing strategy, delivery quality, commercial risk, and alignment to enterprise standards.
