About The Position

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Senior Manager, Internal Enablement to connect new tools and AI capabilities with the marketing and communications teams that use them. This senior individual-contributor role owns the full enablement lifecycle: onboarding tools, improving adoption and user experience, training teams on emerging AI capabilities, identifying new uses for existing tools, and monitoring industry practices. The role partners with business leaders, technology and platform partners, MarTech, IT, and vendors to translate product roadmaps and capabilities into practical adoption across the organization. It offers significant scope, autonomy, and visibility in shaping how hundreds of marketers and communicators use workplace tools; it does not manage people.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in enablement, learning and development, technical training, or operations at a technology or high-growth organization.
  • Direct experience rolling out tools or platforms and driving adoption across a large, distributed user base.
  • Hands-on comfort with modern AI tools, such as LLMs, AI assistants, and agentic workflows, and curiosity about their practical applications.
  • Strong user-experience instincts and ability to identify friction points.
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills, including live training and clear documentation.
  • Curiosity about the technology and AI landscape and ability to translate external best practices into practical internal actions.

Nice To Haves

  • A builder’s mindset, with comfort both designing strategy and writing an initial quick-start guide.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end onboarding for new tools and platforms, from rollout planning through steady-state adoption.
  • Create rollout playbooks, quick-start guides, and role-based learning paths for new tools.
  • Partner with MarTech, IT, and platform vendors to plan releases, migrations, and go-live timelines.
  • Evaluate how teams use tools and identify friction, confusion, and underused features.
  • Simplify workflows and documentation to make tools intuitive to use.
  • Gather structured user feedback and convert it into process, training, or tooling improvements.
  • Design and deliver training on new AI capabilities, translating technical functionality into practical use cases for marketers and communicators.
  • Build a scalable AI enablement model with training sessions, office hours, quick reference guides, and an internal knowledge base.
  • Identify high-friction workflows where AI can have impact and pilot use cases with early-adopter teams.
  • Maintain relationships with technology partners and learn about product roadmaps before releases.
  • Track industry approaches to enablement, onboarding, and adoption, and apply useful practices internally.
  • Represent the organization in partner briefings, beta programs, and early-access opportunities.
  • Measure adoption, usage, and satisfaction across tools and training programs, and report trends and gaps.
  • Recommend and pilot enablement approaches based on data, user feedback, and external best practices.
