About The Position

Twitch is seeking a leader to oversee internal communications across the company. The role helps employees understand what is happening and why it matters, supports employees and leaders through complex company moments and transitions, and develops company All Hands programming that employees find useful and engaging. The position combines company-wide communications strategy and execution with creative programming, employee storytelling, and measurement. The Senior Manager will partner with executives and teams across Twitch on sensitive or complex issues, develop communications plans for organizational changes and company announcements, and use employee engagement and feedback to improve communications. They will also lead All Hands editorial strategy and content development, collaborating with production and creative partners on run of show, speaker preparation, creative elements, and live production. The role is based in one of the listed locations: New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Irvine, or Seattle.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience.
Ability to build communications strategy around a complicated transition and also manage the details of an All Hands segment.
Curiosity about company activity, employee interests, and what employees need to hear.
Comfort asking tough questions and pressing for clarity.
Creativity and the ability to identify compelling stories within a company and develop interesting internal programming.
Willingness to experiment, measure results, and adapt All Hands programming.
Strong project management and production skills, including managing multiple timelines and delivering weekly programming while planning ahead.
Ability to develop ideas into compelling segments and partner with creative and production teams.

Responsibilities

Own internal communications strategy and execution across the company.
Author company-level messaging so employees receive the information and context they need.
Partner with executives and teams across Twitch on sensitive or complex issues, anticipate employee questions, and help leaders communicate clearly.
Develop communications plans for organizational changes, company announcements, and other important moments.
Track employee engagement and feedback and use the findings to improve communications.
Lead All Hands programming, including editorial strategy and content development.
Work with production and creative partners on run of show, speaker preparation, creative elements, and live production.
Build relationships across the company to discover stories, speakers, and work that employees should know about.
Develop new All Hands segments and formats to keep programming fresh and engaging.
Measure All Hands success using attendance, engagement, feedback, and other signals, and use the results to guide changes.
