About The Position

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company focused on transforming military capabilities with advanced technology. This role is part of the Corporate Development team and reports to the Head of Corporate Development, with significant interaction with the c-suite. The position is ideal for an analytical and driven individual with a strong interest in securing American supply chains. The successful candidate will be adept at both strategic thinking regarding industrial capacity and taking decisive action to benefit Anduril’s product portfolio. Anduril prioritizes using existing supply chains and commercial production processes, preferring to leverage competitive markets over vertical integration. As the company expands, it aims to provide clear signals to suppliers about future needs to encourage investment in capacity and product development.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience with demonstrated successes in a high-pressure role where pace and execution quality matters (e.g., management consulting, investment banking, internal strategy & operations, venture capital, elite government roles, or business analyst roles).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis tools.
  • Experience with financial reporting tools and ERP systems (e.g., Anaplan, Netsuite, Oracle, Foundry).
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to drive consensus through grounded arguments, interpersonal skills, and negotiation.
  • Experience interfacing with leadership and executives, understanding how to cultivate trust and facilitate meetings.
  • Ability to execute on a tactical level and develop strategies for complex, ambiguous, cross-functional problems.
  • Comfortable rolling up sleeves to execute operational tasks requiring high attention to detail and organization, while also being able to create high-level strategies.
  • High ownership with the capacity to juggle multiple (3-5+) large projects and priorities in parallel at a rapid pace and report progress regularly.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
  • Excited by a large breadth of problems.
  • Discerning and an incredibly fast learner.
  • Highly organized.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own a repeatable analytical process for assessing Anduril’s long-term industrial capacity needs.
  • Partner with leaders from business development, product, engineering, manufacturing, production, and supply chain organizations to identify growth areas where Anduril should provide market signal in advance of demand.
  • Collaborate with internal colleagues to gather internal production targets, understand the design change landscape, and analyze supplier production plans to establish a robust industrial capacity plan that can scale with multiple configurations and production rates.
  • Communicate forecasts to internal and external stakeholders that accurately reflect Anduril’s business requirements while accounting for potential upside or changes in business direction.
  • In conjunction with a deal leader from the Corporate Development team, identify areas to increase supplier depth and breadth, and execute strategic partnerships and long-term supplier agreements to enhance capacity.
  • Draft long-form thought leadership, talking points, and other collateral for the executive team to use in discussions with elected representatives, customers, the White House, industry partners, and in public communications.
  • Liaise with Anduril’s government and media relations functions to share perspectives on building industrial capacity.
  • Guide and mentor peers and team members across the company to strengthen organizational resiliency and integrate the concept of increasing industrial capacity in advance of demand.
  • Define and implement organization-level processes and improvements to enable business scaling and efficient utilization of purchasing power, drawing on learnings from world-class manufacturers and high-volume industries.
  • Develop easy-to-read reporting and dashboards to measure team KPIs and support the program's scaling.
