Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in operations, logistics, planning, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of people-management experience.
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to work with complex datasets (Excel, SQL, and/or similar tools).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate analysis into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to change.
  • High attention to detail while maintaining a holistic view of end-to-end capacity planning.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience contributing to S&OP or other integrated planning cycles.
  • Experience in multi-site / network operations and station readiness planning.
  • Experience operating in peak-season command-center / war-room environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to build new processes and scale a team (entrepreneurial mindset).

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coach a team of logistics analysts to optimize station capacity across the network, aligning strategic objectives with operational execution.
  • Partner with Engineering and Operations to identify improvement opportunities and proactively prepare stations for peak-volume periods throughout the year.
  • Lead the implementation and adoption of capacity-planning tools and best-in-class technologies, ensuring they support consistent ways of working and effective cross-team collaboration.
  • Establish rigorous station-level capacity management processes. Ensure data owners provide timely and accurate inputs so the team can maintain a single source of truth for capacity across the network.
  • Work with cross-functional partners to identify and execute opportunities that improve speed, cost, and quality—ensuring capacity is created where and when it is most needed across the network.
  • Provide clear visibility on capacity constraints, risks, and opportunities to support realistic, data-driven decisions. Integrate capacity insights into planning discussions with stakeholders across functions.
  • Define and track KPIs related to capacity utilization, throughput performance, and service level outcomes; report trends and drive corrective actions.
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, Finance, Engineering, and other stakeholders to provide transparent, decision-ready visibility into network capacity. Ensure inputs and insights from stakeholders are captured, validated, and reflected in capacity plans.
  • Identify capacity-related risks and propose mitigation plans (e.g., rebalancing, temporary labor, process changes, or infrastructure adjustments).
  • During peak periods, lead the capacity-management workstream within the command center, ensuring rapid issue triage, clear escalation, and coordinated actions to protect service levels.
