About The Position

Blueroot Health is seeking a strategic, data-driven Head of Growth, Acquisition & Retention to lead and scale the Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) business across its portfolio of health and nutrition brands: Vital Nutrients, Bariatric Fusion, Fairhaven Health, and Unjury. This highly cross-functional leadership role combines the responsibilities of Growth & Acquisition and Subscription & Retention into a unified strategy. The ideal candidate will own the full customer lifecycle — from traffic generation and conversion through subscription growth, retention, and lifetime value optimization. You will be responsible for driving sustainable, profitable growth by aligning marketing, ecommerce, analytics, and customer experience strategies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in DTC ecommerce, growth, or performance marketing leadership
  • Proven success scaling subscription-based businesses
  • Deep expertise in customer acquisition & lifecycle marketing
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Experience with CRO, CRM, and marketing automation platforms
  • Ability to balance brand building with performance optimization
  • Exceptional cross-functional leadership and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the DTC growth strategy across all portfolio brands
  • Drive new customer acquisition through paid media, organic channels, partnerships, and emerging platforms
  • Optimize CAC, ROAS, and contribution margin
  • Identify scalable growth opportunities and new channels
  • Partner with creative and brand teams to improve conversion performance
  • Lead subscription growth initiatives and lifecycle marketing programs
  • Improve retention, churn reduction, and customer lifetime value (LTV)
  • Develop segmentation, personalization, and CRM strategies
  • Optimize onboarding, replenishment flows, and win-back campaigns
  • Enhance loyalty and customer engagement programs
  • Oversee DTC website performance and conversion rate optimization (CRO)
  • Drive improvements in UX, merchandising, pricing, and offer strategies
  • Partner with product and operations teams to improve customer experience
  • Leverage A/B testing and behavioral analytics
  • Own DTC performance metrics and forecasting
  • Build KPI dashboards and growth models
  • Translate data into actionable strategies
  • Monitor cohort performance, LTV/CAC dynamics, and subscription health
  • Drive a culture of experimentation and continuous optimization
  • Collaborate with marketing, brand, operations, supply chain, and finance
  • Align growth strategies with inventory and business objectives
  • Lead agency and vendor relationships
  • Champion customer-centric decision making
