About The Position

Air is a Creative Ops System designed for creative teams, automating content management tasks and enhancing creativity through features like image recognition, automated versioning, and approval workflows. Launched in March 2021, the company has successfully raised over $70M from world-class venture capital groups. The Head of Growth role is a seasoned position focused on building a predictable engine to convert brand awareness into a qualified pipeline. This individual will be responsible for paid marketing, AEO, SEO, outbound strategies, the marketing website, and all associated reporting and analytics. The role involves managing a small existing team of marketers, SDRs, and GTM engineers, as well as overseeing external agency relationships. This is a player-coach role, requiring both hands-on execution and team leadership. The Head of Growth will report directly to the cofounders and play a key role in setting growth strategy.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in growth or performance marketing, with roots as an individual contributor in paid or SEO before stepping into leadership.
  • Built and managed teams, but haven't lost the ability to do the work yourself.
  • Meaningful experience driving pipeline and revenue in a B2B SaaS or technology context.
  • Understand sales cycles, ICP targeting, and how marketing maps to revenue.
  • Ability to architect and manage paid search and social campaigns yourself.
  • Managed significant performance marketing budgets and have strong intuitions about where to allocate, when to scale, and when to pull back.
  • Worked in high-growth, resource-constrained environments and are energized — not frustrated — by the ambiguity that comes with them.
  • Ready to leave it all out on the field to elevate Air and build a world-class growth engine.

  • Meta experience, particularly from a B2C context, is a meaningful plus.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategy and execution across paid marketing, AEO, SEO, outbound, and the marketing website.
  • Manage a budget in the $10–20M range as the company scales, with full accountability for pipeline contribution and CAC efficiency.
  • Obsess over the metrics that drive our funnel, and own the analysis to continually improve results.
  • Maintain agency partnerships while building in-house expertise to reduce dependency.
  • Inherit and develop a team of growth-focused marketers and operators to build the muscle further.
  • Set a high bar for craft — mentor ICs, establish clear performance frameworks, and build a culture of speed, rigor, and accountability.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Revenue to ensure the marketing website and campaign messaging stay aligned with positioning.
  • Roll up your sleeves on paid campaign architecture, audience segmentation, and bid strategy.
  • Own the marketing website as a growth lever: conversion rate optimization, landing page testing, and messaging iteration.
  • Drive AEO and SEO investment and strategy, building durable organic channels alongside performance channels.
  • Contribute to our product-led growth motion, in close collaboration with product and engineering.
  • Build and maintain reporting infrastructure that gives leadership clear visibility into pipeline quality, channel efficiency, and attribution.
  • Make fast, data-informed decisions in an environment where you'll often have good-but-not-perfect data.
  • Proactively identify what's working, kill what isn't, and double down with conviction.

  • Competitive Compensation: The compensation range for this role is USD $180,000-$250,000 + equity, commensurate with experience.
