About The Position

CodeSignal is hiring a Senior Manager, FP&A & Business Operations to serve as the strategic finance partner to the executive team and GTM organization, including Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and RevOps. The role owns the company’s forecasting, planning, and business performance measurement, including the operating model, annual plan, quota setting, and leadership dashboards. It reports to the VP of Finance & Operations and turns data into recommendations about investment, growth, and efficiency. The role is suited to a builder who is comfortable with both financial modeling and pipeline reviews, thrives in ambiguity, and wants to contribute to a scaling AI/SaaS company. The Senior Manager owns the operating model and rolling forecasts for revenue, headcount, operating expenses, cash, and SaaS metrics; leads annual planning, budgeting, and quarterly reforecasts; and builds models for product launches, pricing and packaging changes, new GTM motions, and other growth initiatives. The role delivers monthly budget-to-actual and variance analysis and runs scenario and sensitivity analyses to inform hiring, investment, and runway decisions. The position partners with Sales, Customer Success, and RevOps on targets, quotas, territories, capacity planning, and compensation plan design. It tracks pipeline health, conversion, and bookings; owns and reports core SaaS metrics; and models how deal structures, discounts, and multi-year agreements affect revenue and cash. It also designs executive and departmental dashboards and recurring reports, prepares financial materials for board meetings and investor updates, and translates analysis into concise recommendations. The role partners with Accounting to align close, headcount, and planning data; owns headcount planning and tracking with People Ops; and improves FP&A tools and data infrastructure, including planning software, BI tools, and CRM/ERP integrations. It identifies opportunities to automate reporting and documents scalable, repeatable planning workflows.

  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain the story behind the numbers to finance and non-finance audiences.
  • Highly detail-oriented, with sound business judgment and the ability to balance rigor with speed.
