About The Position

Snowflake is seeking a Senior Manager, Finance Applications to lead the team that designs, builds, and operates the systems supporting the Office of the CFO. The role brings a product-led approach to finance technology, with a strong focus on AI and agentic applications that transform how Finance works. The Senior Manager owns product strategy and delivery across Workday Financials and the connected finance stack, building new capabilities and improving finance processes through automation and AI. The role also champions Snowflake as Customer Zero by developing finance data products, Streamlit applications, and native integrations on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud. It embeds compliance and auditability into product design, leads global teams, manages vendors and implementation partners, and reports product outcomes to finance and technology leadership.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in finance systems, finance product management, or finance transformation, ideally at a high-growth SaaS or technology company.
  • 5+ years in a product manager or product owner role for finance or accounting systems, with ownership of a product roadmap from vision through delivery.
  • Track record of building finance systems or capabilities from the ground up, not only maintaining or upgrading existing platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major SaaS ERP, such as Workday Financials, Oracle Cloud/NetSuite, or SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
  • Knowledge of accounting and finance operations, including Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, revenue recognition, close, and FP&A.
  • Strong working knowledge of SOX, ITGCs, internal controls, and audit requirements for financial systems.
  • AI-first product mindset and practical experience applying GenAI, LLMs, or intelligent automation to real business processes.
  • Experience leading and building high-performing teams, including teams across global locations.
  • Strong product toolkit, including user research, prioritization frameworks, roadmapping, agile delivery, and outcome-based metrics.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to influence the CFO organization and technology executives.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience shipping agentic workflows or LLM-powered applications in production, especially in a regulated finance environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL, Python, or Streamlit.
  • Accounting background (CPA, CA, or similar) or prior experience in a finance or controllership role.
  • Experience with process mining, RPA, or workflow orchestration.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, goals, success metrics, and prioritized backlog for Finance Applications across Workday Financials and the connected finance stack.
  • Lead discovery with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and Procurement users; translate pain points into requirements and user stories; and deliver iteratively in short release cycles.
  • Build new finance capabilities from problem definition and architecture through launch, adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • Design and roll out AI and agentic finance products for use cases such as close automation, reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable, collections, revenue, and forecasting using Snowflake Cortex AI, Cortex Agents, and Snowflake Intelligence.
  • Build finance data products, Streamlit in Snowflake applications, and native integrations on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud, and share learnings with Snowflake product teams.
  • Embed SOX compliance, ITGCs, segregation of duties, and audit readiness into product design and change management so AI-driven automation is trusted, explainable, and auditable.
  • Drive end-to-end transformation across Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, and FP&A, redesigning processes around automation and AI.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing, globally distributed team of product owners, business systems analysts, and engineers, fostering a product-led, AI-first culture.
  • Manage ERP vendors and implementation partners against product outcomes, timelines, and budget.
  • Define and report product KPIs, including cycle-time reduction, automation rate, adoption, accuracy, and control effectiveness, to demonstrate business impact to finance and technology leadership.
