Senior Manager Facilities
About The Position
Reporting to the Regional Director, Environment of Care – Texas-New Mexico, the Senior Manager Facilities provides management oversight for all phases of hospital facilities projects, coordinating workers, materials, and equipment. The role ensures specifications are followed and work proceeds on schedule and within budget. It also supports the Regional Director with Engineering department operations and personnel activities, operational and budgetary planning for facility maintenance and proposed projects, and resolution of complex staff issues. The Senior Manager schedules and inspects Engineering staff work, selects, trains, and evaluates staff, and ensures Hospital and Department policies are observed. The position maintains the hospital facility to ensure maximum efficiency. Regular hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM; on-call and weekend work may be needed on an as-needed basis.
Requirements
- Five years of experience maintaining equipment, utilities, and buildings in a large hospital setting of 500,000 square feet or greater.
- Five years of experience managing a healthcare facility department in a leadership role.
- Three years of exposure to multiple Joint Commission surveys and other hospital regulatory agencies.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent field.

- Resolve difficult or complex issues encountered by staff.
- Maintain the hospital facility to ensure maximum efficiency.
