About The Position

The Role Do you want to have an impact on our customers’ businesses and be part of a highly collaborative, cross-functional team committed to improving the value of our event programs within Fidelity? We are looking for a Senior Event Marketing Manager with deep expertise across all phases of the event lifecycle, including strategic planning, implementation, and post-event data analysis. This senior event marketer will work alongside key marketing and business partners to lead innovative event strategies that focus on the marketing, promotion, and execution of high-impact programs for our key clients and prospects. This role is responsible for integrating event initiatives with broader business and marketing objectives, delivering proprietary insights to the market, and ensuring alignment to brand and compliance standards. The result will be deeper client relationships, stronger engagement, and increased demand for our products and services.

Nice To Haves

  • Financial services experience a plus, but not required.
  • Knowledge of project and event management tools including Salesforce, Workfront, and CVENT preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead innovative event strategies that focus on the marketing, promotion, and execution of high-impact programs for our key clients and prospects.
  • Integrate event initiatives with broader business and marketing objectives.
  • Deliver proprietary insights to the market.
  • Ensure alignment to brand and compliance standards.
  • Manage and integrate multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
  • Provide direction to partners throughout all stages of the event planning process.
  • Scope, prioritize, and deliver against complex timelines.
  • Provide clear, proactive communication with diverse stakeholders.
  • Make quick, clear-headed decisions under pressure.
  • Influence key partners (business leaders, compliance, internal marketing teams) and provide advisory input based on data and experience.
