The Senior Manager, Ecommerce, reporting to the Director of Ecommerce & Retention, is responsible for the entire storefront experience, acting as the primary revenue engine for the brand. This is an operational role requiring hands-on management of Shopify Plus, conversion rate optimization, technology implementations, and coordination with development resources and agency partners. The ideal candidate is a data-led, growth-minded builder with an interest in AI and a focus on driving measurable results.

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years in DTC ecommerce operations
  • At least 3 years hands-on managing a Shopify Plus storefront
  • Direct experience configuring and operating a subscription platform within the Shopify Plus ecosystem
  • Experience managing ecommerce technology projects and implementations using Jira or similar tools
  • Track record of driving measurable improvements in conversion rate and site performance
  • Foundational understanding of SEO best practices for ecommerce
  • Comfortable executing directly in Shopify Plus on a daily basis with strong familiarity across the ecosystem
  • Analytical mindset with fluency in Google Analytics and other reporting tools
  • Rigorous approach to QA and site testing
  • Strong project management instincts with the ability to run multiple initiatives independently
  • Clear communicator who coordinates effectively across internal teams and external vendors
  • Identifies issues and opportunities before they become problems or missed chances

  • Experience in the wellness, vitamins, or supplements industry
  • Experience with A/B testing or dedicated CRO tools
  • Intermediate understanding of SEO best practices for ecommerce

Responsibilities

  • Own the Shopify Plus storefront end-to-end, including product setup, collection curation, site content, banners, promotions, and discount codes, ensuring accuracy, speed, and brand consistency.
  • Own the on-site subscription experience, including product detail pages, checkout flow, subscription widgets, and the customer account portal, partnering with the Retention team to support subscription growth.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the on-site experience through testing, iterating, and optimizing UX, merchandising, and the customer journey, focusing on conversion rate, AOV, and repeat purchase behavior.
  • Manage ecommerce technology projects end-to-end using Jira, including timelines, milestones, vendor coordination, and collaboration with internal and external development resources. This includes managing the Shopify app ecosystem and staying current on platform enhancements.
  • Perform Quality Assurance for the site, emails, SMS, new features, and pre-launch/post-launch updates, ensuring no issues with links, display errors, checkout, or mobile responsiveness before sign-off.
  • Analyze and report on ecommerce and site performance metrics using Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics, and internal tools, delivering clear insights to inform quick decisions.
  • Act as the point of contact for website and ecommerce operations, collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to connect work, align timelines, and ensure progress.
