About The Position

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) builds and operates large-scale, integrated cloud services in a distributed, multi-tenant environment. The OCI Identity team develops foundational, customer-facing cloud identity capabilities. The Senior Manager of Development will own and manage a team of software engineers and software development managers responsible for architecture and development for major OCI components. The role requires both hands-on technical depth, including comfort with low-level operating systems development and broad systems interactions, and the ability to guide teams working across the technology stack. The position will drive major aspects of product definition, contribute to product strategy, and help develop next-generation Identity capabilities for OCI. The manager will lead software design, development, testing, debugging, and delivery; guide architectural decisions and improvements; coordinate planning and execution across functional areas; and work with senior leaders and stakeholders to align engineering and business objectives. The role also includes recruiting, coaching, and developing engineers while building a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and engineering excellence.
