About The Position

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure’s Network Modeling and Control team builds software that models physical networks and enables their configuration, expansion, and safe operation. Its services turn infrastructure designs into working networks and coordinate changes as AI and cloud infrastructure capacity grows. The team addresses distributed systems challenges involving consistent network state, concurrent changes, partial-failure recovery, and safe infrastructure automation. The Senior Manager, Core Infrastructure Engineering will lead and grow an engineering team delivering distributed services for network modeling, configuration, and lifecycle operations across OCI’s AI and cloud infrastructure. The role combines people leadership, technical judgment, and execution to help bring AI network capacity online efficiently and operate it reliably. The manager partners with senior engineers to set technical direction, translate infrastructure priorities into a roadmap, and create an environment where engineers take ownership, develop expertise, and deliver results. The role owns team priorities and delivery commitments, balances new capabilities with reliability, scalability, security, and maintainability, and guides architectural decisions. It works across network engineering, infrastructure delivery, operations, and adjacent software teams. The manager also leads production ownership and operational performance, including testing, observability, operational readiness, safe rollouts, sustainable on-call practices, and follow-through on incident findings. The position includes hiring, coaching, career development, and clear communication with engineering leadership and partner teams. The U.S. hiring range is $146,300 to $306,400 per annum. The position may be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral. Oracle provides a comprehensive benefits package. Certain U.S.-based or U.S. customer-facing roles may be subject to applicable immunization or occupational health mandates and/or drug testing requirements. U.S.-based employees complete identity verification that involves collection and processing of biometric information; accommodations may be granted following an individualized assessment.
