Senior Manager, Business Consulting
About The Position
The Senior Manager, Business Consulting leads engagements for Aetna Service Operations and partners with leaders across the organization to diagnose performance issues. The role develops supporting analysis and documentation and supports the executive operating cadence. The position manages multiple concurrent engagements against fixed executive deadlines. This full-time position offers a base pay range of $82,940.00–$182,549.00. The role is also eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program and an award target in the company’s equity award program. Requirements
- Eight or more years in business operations, healthcare operations or strategy.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives through influence.
- Advanced skill in building executive presentations and recommendations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and process design skills.
- Hands-on analytical capability, from data through to executive materials.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and competing deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, finance or a related field.
Nice To Haves
- Healthcare payer operations knowledge.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Exposure to SQL, Tableau or Power BI.
- Three to five years of management consulting experience.
- Master’s degree.
Responsibilities
- Lead engagements from problem definition through recommendation and handoff.
- Build hypothesis-driven analysis and the executive storyline for each engagement.
- Partner with senior leaders to diagnose performance gaps and structure options.
- Support the executive operating cadence, including the monthly operating review and governance forums.
- Document current-state processes, handoffs and control points.
- Build and maintain trackers, baseline metrics and supporting documentation.
- Produce executive materials and track follow-up items to closure.
- Manage multiple concurrent engagements against fixed executive deadlines.
