About The Position

Harrington is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Accounting Operations to lead Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Credit & Collections. This hands-on leadership role focuses on strengthening financial processes, improving cash flow, developing teams, and driving operational efficiencies across a growing organization. The role calls for a strategic, solutions-oriented leader who enjoys solving problems, developing people, and using technology to improve operations.

The Senior Manager will work with Accounting, Treasury, Sales, and regional leadership to strengthen financial performance and address operational challenges. The role also oversees accounting activities that support financial close, audits, and compliance, while advancing process improvements, automation, and ERP enhancements to build scalable accounting operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience within a large, complex organization.
• Proven experience leading AP, AR, and/or Credit & Collections teams.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, credit risk, collections, and accounting operations.
• Experience implementing process improvements, automation, and ERP solutions.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• A hands-on, solutions-oriented leadership approach and ability to balance strategic priorities with day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead AP, AR, and Credit & Collections operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong financial controls.
• Develop and execute credit and collections strategies to improve cash flow, manage risk, and support business growth.
• Partner with Accounting, Treasury, Sales, and regional leadership to strengthen financial performance and resolve operational challenges.
• Oversee key accounting activities supporting financial close, audits, and compliance.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and ERP enhancements to build scalable accounting operations.
• Lead, coach, and develop accounting teams while fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
