Uare.ai is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to deploy its Human Life Model (HLM) on Azure OpenAI within a U.S. Department of Defense Impact Level 5 (IL5) boundary and demonstrate that it performs as well there as it does commercially. The role involves supporting U.S. government contracts and requires U.S. citizenship. The position is in person five days a week across the company's San Francisco and Los Altos offices, with occasional travel to customer sites, and reports to the CTO. Uare.ai describes its HLM as an Individual AI trained on one person and based on a model capturing seven dimensions of that person's identity. The company states that each person's data does not train anyone else's model. The role will bring the HLM and its supporting systems into Azure Government, with data and processing kept inside the IL5 boundary, and will provide documented evidence and evaluation results for the customer and the ATO process. Uare.ai was founded by Rob LoCascio, founder and former CEO of LivePerson, and is backed by $10.3 million from Mayfield and Boldstart Ventures. The company states that the HLM went live in July 2026. Uare.ai is an equal opportunity employer. The posting gives an expected annual base compensation range of $180,000–$250,000, plus equity and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees; the heading also lists $200,000–$260,000 base plus equity.
