About The Position

The Senior Full Stack Engineer will own Uare.ai’s Department of Defense Impact Level 5 (IL5) deployment end to end, including the application, infrastructure, and controls needed for authorization. The role supports U.S. government contracts and works with the company’s prime contractor and government customers to deliver a secure, authorized deployment. The engineer will deploy and harden Uare.ai in Azure Government; build access controls and audit logs that trace reads and writes; ship approved container images and maintain them against STIGs and security scans; implement CAC/PKI login, FIPS-validated encryption, and CUI handling; and own security documentation with the prime contractor’s compliance team. The role also ships product features across the TypeScript, Next.js, Python, Postgres, Redis, and Azure stack to keep both platforms in sync. This is an in-person role five days a week across the San Francisco and Los Altos offices, with occasional travel to customer sites. The position reports to the CTO. U.S. citizenship is required, and the candidate must be able to pass a U.S. government background investigation. An active clearance is a plus. Expected annual base compensation is $190,000–$245,000, plus equity and a comprehensive benefits package.
