About The Position

Forward Financing is seeking a Senior Lifecycle/CRM Marketing Specialist to take ownership of customer communication throughout their journey with the company. This role involves building scalable automation, designing robust systems, and leveraging AI to enhance efficiency and personalization. The ideal candidate is passionate about CRM marketing, stays updated on HubSpot, and prioritizes building effective workflows. You will be responsible for developing and executing customer journeys, utilizing AI for various marketing tasks, ensuring data integrity within HubSpot, maintaining compliance with communication regulations, and translating campaign performance into actionable business intelligence.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience across Marketing Operations and Email/Lifecycle Marketing, ideally in high-growth FinTech, financial services, or alternative lending.
  • HubSpot expert with advanced knowledge of Workflows, Custom Objects, HubDB, Salesforce sync, and system mapping.
  • AI fluency demonstrated through specific examples where AI improved speed or quality of work (content, analysis, operations).
  • Analytical depth, comfortable with data and explaining its meaning.
  • Problem-solving skills with a focus on digging into technical root causes and building scalable, automated solutions.
  • Builder instinct, pursuing root causes and leaving behind sustainable systems.

Nice To Haves

  • HubSpot certifications strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, deploy, and manage complex, trigger-based customer journeys and automated workflows within HubSpot to deliver tailored, 1:1 customer experiences.
  • Utilize AI to draft, personalize, segment, summarize, QA workflows, and surface insights more quickly.
  • Pilot AI agents inside lifecycle touchpoints and evaluate new HubSpot AI features.
  • Act as the steward for HubSpot data integrity, implementing automated data-cleaning processes, managing deduplication, and overseeing list hygiene.
  • Manage the Salesforce/CRM integration sync and field mappings.
  • Maintain adherence to communication regulations (TCPA, CAN-SPAM).
  • Champion email/SMS deliverability and sender reputation best practices.
  • Build KPI reports that teams use and surface meaningful trends early.
  • Translate performance data into clear recommendations for business leaders.
