•$162,000 - $319,000

About The Position

MongoDB is seeking a finance technology leader to guide a team of Product Managers, NetSuite Engineers, and Engineers building and evolving the financial technology platform behind Tax, Treasury, Accounting, Source-to-Pay (S2P), and FP&A. This player-coach role sits at the intersection of Finance, Product, and Engineering. The role owns technical direction for the finance technology stack, turns complex finance requirements into scalable, automated, and compliant solutions, builds a high-performing team, and owns the NetSuite engineering function and ERP platform. The position partners closely with the CFO organization, Controllership, Tax, Treasury, Procurement, FP&A, IT, Security, and Data teams. It is based in the United States, with Palo Alto or New York listed as locations. The leader defines and executes a multi-year fintech roadmap, leads product and engineering practices, and directs the design, development, integrations, release lifecycle, compliance, support, and ongoing health of NetSuite. The role also owns architecture and integration strategy across finance applications, supports finance-domain platforms and processes, and advises Finance and executive leaders on technology capabilities, risks, priorities, and strategic initiatives. Success is measured by delivery of a prioritized fintech roadmap; reliable, secure, audit-ready systems; stable NetSuite operations and reduced technical debt; measurable improvements to close speed, manual effort, forecast accuracy, spend and cash visibility; stakeholder satisfaction; and development of a high-performing team.
