Senior IT Project Manager/ Business Analyst
About The Position
RGP is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager / Business Analyst to support a large healthcare organization's strategic interoperability and digital transformation initiatives. This highly visible role serves as the bridge between clinical operations, business stakeholders, and technology teams, translating healthcare requirements into scalable technology solutions. The consultant will combine project leadership, business analysis expertise, and healthcare industry knowledge to manage cross-functional stakeholders, drive project execution, and support healthcare data integration efforts. The posting describes the position as fully remote, while also noting “Hybrid role- 1 day.”
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in Project Management, Business Analysis, or a hybrid PM/BA role.
- 10+ years of healthcare industry experience required.
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and technology-enabled business processes.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools.
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams within complex enterprise environments.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Nice To Haves
- Managed care or health plan experience preferred.
- PMP Certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Partner with clinical, operational, business, and IT stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements.
- Translate healthcare policies, workflows, and operational needs into functional and technical requirements.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, risks, issue logs, and executive status reporting.
- Lead healthcare interoperability and data integration initiatives across multiple systems and teams.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, requirements workshops, and project governance sessions.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business users and technical delivery teams.
- Drive accountability, manage project dependencies, and ensure milestones are achieved.
- Support process improvement, workflow optimization, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
