About The Position

Horizon Next is a data-driven marketing organization providing strategic leadership to accelerate client growth through brand strategy, media planning and investment, and analytics across channels. The Senior Investor, Integrated Investment manages media buying and account work across multiple accounts, with responsibilities spanning buy development and management (50%), account management (30%), invoice reconciliation (5%), and mentorship (15%). The role negotiates and stewards media buys, manages campaign budgets and deliverables, monitors performance and implements optimizations, supports client and internal account teams, reconciles reported numbers, and trains and mentors junior team members.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years’ experience in active buying.
Skilled in Excel, including pivot tables.
Strong negotiation skills and media industry relationships.
Excellent organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a fast-paced advertising or marketing environment.
Experience with Local buying; OTT experience is a plus.
Strong experience analyzing and managing buys toward campaign performance metrics such as CPL and CPP.
Experience using the Core buying system.

Responsibilities

Gather rates, construct media buys in the Core buying system, and send schedules.
Negotiate and steward buys across multiple accounts.
Provide marketplace insights and maintain knowledge of industry trends and market conditions.
Work with sales representatives to promote advantageous relationships.
Manage budgets and deliverables, including GRPs, impressions, and response data, across National, Local, and OTT buys.
React to campaign results and implement required optimizations as directed.
Serve as an account lead and/or account support across multiple accounts.
Work with Horizon Next account teams on budget maintenance, clearance spreadsheets, and other campaign data.
Participate in campaign results meetings and calls with clients and Business Solutions teams.
Communicate client goals and deadlines to the Horizon Next Investment team, and proof and deliver final buys when serving as account lead.
Oversee weekly campaign clearance and goal delivery, responding to results and implementing required optimizations.
Manage multiple market budgets and deliverables, including GRPs, impressions, and response data.
Track reconciliation progress and check that monthly numbers align with reported numbers.
Oversee junior team members’ day-to-day work negotiating and maintaining local market schedules for several accounts.
Mentor and manage additional junior team members on account teams.
Train and oversee Assistant Video Investors on media fundamentals, policies and procedures, and computer systems.
Create and present internal training decks for junior team members.
Participate in interviews for Assistant and Investor roles.
