The Consumer At-Risk Persons (ARP) Senior Investigator - Reporter performs daily reporting of potential or suspected vulnerable adult abuse, neglect, and/or financial exploitation to law enforcement and adult protective services (APS) agencies across the country. The role does not conduct the underlying investigation; instead, it engages with law enforcement and APS regarding investigations completed by Consumer ARP investigators. Reports may be filed by telephone, fax, email, or online portals, according to reporting statutes that vary by state or U.S. territory. The Senior Investigator - Reporter ensures investigations referred for state reporting are reported accurately and on time. The role uses proprietary and public reference materials and tools to determine appropriate reporting methods and deadlines at the state or county level. It also documents reporting evidence, case notes, attachments, and agency responses in the ARP case management system, and processes incoming mail. A key team priority is completing all required same-day reporting daily without exception.
