About The Position

As a Senior Investigator on Fidelity’s Background Investigations team, you will work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, providing comprehensive global background vetting of new hires and other investigative capabilities. Training will be provided in conducting investigations, interviewing, and briefings. The role focuses on overseeing a team of investigators conducting post-hire investigations and applying investigative knowledge and expertise to a range of matters, including working closely with Internal Investigations and other business partners on escalated or sensitive issues.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in law enforcement, investigations, security, risk, HR, or a similar field.
• Demonstrated expertise in investigative analysis and techniques, or a desire to learn them.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical ability, including working across data sets, identifying patterns, and interpreting findings.
• Comfort working across teams or groups and exceptional relationship management skills.
• Strong leadership and operational process management skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure while handling multiple tasks and priorities.
• Ability to quickly master and navigate sensitive organizational matters.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree.
