About The Position

GDC IT Solutions is seeking a Senior Integration Developer to support the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC). The position focuses on designing, developing, implementing, deploying, and supporting enterprise integration solutions for complex tolling operations and interconnected enterprise applications. The role works across Microsoft .NET and C#, Azure cloud technologies, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, IVR systems, and external systems. The developer will lead the creation of scalable, secure, high-performing integrations that support high-volume tolling operations, streamline data flows, optimize system performance, and enhance customer interactions. Work includes APIs, microservices, middleware, Azure Functions and Service Bus solutions, IVR optimization, and integration frameworks. The role also evaluates integration approaches and maintains technical and functional documentation according to Commission standards.

Requirements

8+ years of experience as a Developer or in a similar role, with expertise in Azure cloud solutions, IVR systems, and integrations with external systems.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure government and commercial cloud platforms, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings.
Extensive experience designing and implementing integrations with external systems, preferably in tolling or transportation environments.
Experience developing enterprise integration solutions using Microsoft .NET, C#, and Azure technologies.
Experience with enterprise application integrations, APIs, middleware, and cloud-based solutions.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
10+ years of experience developing complex enterprise integrations for high-volume organizations using SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, and Microsoft Azure cloud hosting solutions.
Hands-on experience with .NET 8+, ASP.NET Core Web API, RESTful APIs, microservices, and custom middleware development.
Experience designing, developing, and optimizing IVR systems.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure Service Bus, including queues, topics, subscriptions, sessions, and dead-letter queues.
Experience developing Azure Functions and reusable integration frameworks.

Nice To Haves

Experience with IVR systems in tolling or similar customer-facing environments.
Knowledge of tolling industry standards, regulatory requirements, and operational best practices.
Master's degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex enterprise integration solutions supporting tolling operations and interconnected business systems.
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration services using C#, .NET 8+ or supported .NET LTS versions, and ASP.NET Core Web API.
Design and implement integrations among SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Azure cloud services, IVR systems, payment gateways, backend databases, traffic management systems, and external systems.
Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and custom middleware components for enterprise integration requirements.
Build and maintain Azure Functions using HTTP, Service Bus, timer, and blob triggers.
Design, develop, and optimize IVR systems to improve tolling customer interactions and operational efficiency.
Implement and manage Azure Service Bus solutions, including queues, topics, subscriptions, sessions, and dead-letter queues.
Develop reusable components, shared libraries, and integration frameworks for enterprise application integration.
Implement JSON/XML payload transformations, validation, and data mapping.
Analyze integration models and assess options for high-volume processing environments.
Identify opportunities to reduce data replication, streamline integrations, and improve system performance.
Apply best practices for on-demand open APIs and secure enterprise API standards.
Follow clean coding principles, SOLID design patterns, and secure coding standards.
Create and maintain technical and functional designs, diagrams, test plans, test scripts, impact analysis reports, and other required documentation.
Adhere to Commission standards, policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.
