Senior Integration Analyst
About The Position
Cohere Health is seeking a Senior Integration Analyst to join its Integration Services team. The role leads technical analysis and design for complex healthcare interoperability solutions that connect the Cohere platform with payer, provider, and third-party systems. The analyst works with Product, Engineering, Clinical, Analytics, and external stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable integrations that improve patient and provider experiences. This remote-first position may require travel to Boston, Massachusetts, for new-hire onboarding and occasional in-person team meetings and company events. The posting describes about 10% travel.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience analyzing, defining, implementing, or supporting healthcare integrations; prior authorization experience is ideal.
- Experience leading complex healthcare integration initiatives from discovery through testing and production readiness.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, SFTP, and flat-file integration patterns.
- Experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 FHIR and HL7 v2.
- Working knowledge of payer workflows such as prior authorization, eligibility, claims, provider data, or utilization management.
- Experience creating source-to-target mappings, interface specifications, workflow diagrams, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
- Technical design experience, specifically with integration solutions.
- Strong client-facing communication and facilitation skills, including the ability to explain technical topics to technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple client initiatives in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, product, implementation, and data teams.

Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject-matter expert in healthcare interoperability and payer prior authorization integrations, leading analysis and definition of data exchanges.
- Lead client-facing integration discovery and requirements-gathering sessions and translate payer and provider workflows into technical specifications.
- Design scalable, reusable integration workflows using APIs, HL7 FHIR, HL7 v2, X12 EDI, SFTP, flat files, and other data-exchange methods.
- Produce source-to-target mappings, interface specifications, data-flow diagrams, field definitions, validation rules, and error-handling requirements.
- Manage analysis across up to three concurrent client initiatives, tracking risks, dependencies, decisions, and open issues.
- Investigate integration failures and coordinate root-cause analysis across technical teams by reviewing payloads, files, logs, and system behavior.
- Develop test scenarios and support unit, integration, end-to-end, regression, and production-readiness testing.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, Solution Architecture, Implementation, and Client Success teams to deliver client solutions.
- Support clients through implementation, activation, launch, and steady-state operations as a technical partner.
- Mentor less-experienced analysts and contribute to integration standards, documentation, and delivery-process improvements.
