About The Position

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a Senior Inpatient Case Manager/ Registered Nurse (RN) for a Full-Time Weekend Dayshift position. This role assumes responsibility, accountability, and leadership for the daily operations, including coordination of work, quality, and service for inpatient case management. The position involves assisting the supervisor for the assigned site/function, participating in team activities, providing case management services as needed, maintaining fiscal accountability for departmental activities, and providing feedback on hiring and evaluations of personnel. This role functions within hospitals only.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) in VA or NC or Compact/Multi-state REQUIRED
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• 3 years nursing experience REQUIRED, preferred in Acute Care setting
• 3 years Case Management experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Case Management (ACM, CCM, CCCTM, CMAC, or CMGT-BC) certification is required within one year of eligibility.
