About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide in-home care to adults, helping them remain safe and independent in their homes. The caregiver follows a written plan of care from a registered nurse and provides personal care, household support, and companion care. The position offers the opportunity to build close relationships with clients while supporting their comfort, independence, and dignity.
Requirements
- At least one year of work experience.
- Active CNA license registered with North Carolina and in good standing.
- Meet Bayada policy requirements for home care.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, household support, and companion care according to a written plan of care from a registered nurse.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
- Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and bed-making.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
- Assist clients with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
- Assist with ambulation and transfers, including use of mechanical lifting devices.
- Provide medication reminders.
