About The Position

HTS Engineering Ltd. is an independent commercial HVAC manufacturers’ representative with 20 locations in the United States and Canada. The company emphasizes the success of employees, suppliers, customers, and end users involved in HVAC system selection, design, purchase, installation, and maintenance. The Senior HVAC Commercial Technician troubleshoots, repairs, maintains, and services commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems. The role includes diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and controls-related problems; servicing a range of commercial equipment; completing service calls; maintaining records; communicating with customers and facility personnel; and following safety procedures and applicable regulations. Overtime and occasional weekend work may be needed.

Requirements

Current Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License.
EPA 608 Universal Certification.
Commercial HVAC experience.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and service commercial HVAC systems.
Perform preventative maintenance on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and controls-related issues.
Service boilers, chillers, pumps, fans, rooftop units, and other commercial HVAC equipment.
Identify equipment problems and recommend appropriate repairs.
Complete service calls efficiently and professionally.
Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
Communicate professionally with customers and facility personnel.
Follow company safety procedures and applicable OSHA and EPA regulations.
Maintain a clean and professional work environment.
Participate in required safety training.
Work overtime and occasional weekends as needed.
