Senior Commercial HVAC Technician
About The Position
HTS Engineering Ltd. is an independent commercial HVAC manufacturers’ representative with 20 locations in the United States and Canada. The company emphasizes the success of everyone involved in an HVAC system’s selection, design, purchase, installation, and maintenance, including employees, suppliers, customers, and end users. The Senior Commercial HVAC Technician diagnoses, troubleshoots, services, and repairs large commercial HVAC systems. The role handles complex service calls independently, performs preventative maintenance, communicates findings and repair recommendations to customers, and supports other technicians with complex diagnostics when needed.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of demonstrated commercial HVAC service experience.
- Strong background servicing equipment in large commercial environments.
- Advanced HVAC diagnostic and troubleshooting ability.
- Experience with large packaged and rooftop HVAC equipment.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to independently diagnose complex system issues.
- EPA Universal Certification.
- Valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair large commercial HVAC systems.
- Handle complex service calls independently from diagnosis through repair.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control-related system issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance and identify potential equipment failures.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Communicate findings and repair recommendations professionally with customers.
- Support other technicians with complex diagnostics when needed.
