About The Position

This position is responsible for supporting and administering Total Rewards (Compensation and Benefits) programs and the systems that enable them. The role partners with managers, employees, and HR colleagues to deliver high-quality Total Rewards services, ensure program compliance, and drive continuous improvement. The position actively seeks opportunities to enhance programs and supports FINRA's mission of investor protection and market integrity. This role is ideal for an early-career HR professional with 1–2 years of general HR experience who is eager to build a broad, cross-functional skill set. As an HR Associate, you'll gain hands-on exposure across multiple HR disciplines, including Total Rewards (compensation and benefits), Leave of Absence administration, New Employee Orientation, and other core HR programs. This is a high-visibility opportunity for a motivated early-career HR generalist looking to deepen their expertise and grow within a dynamic HR function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong communication (verbal, written & listening) and interpersonal skills.
  • A work style that is proactive, flexible and organized; and a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Proven ability to work well both independently and as part of a team, and a talent for multitasking.

Responsibilities

  • Support Total Rewards programs; ensure compliance with policies and practices; educate employees, managers, and HR staff; and escalate issues as needed.
  • Provide event support, project management support of multiple programs, and maintain the accuracy and currency of Total Rewards documentation and communications.
  • Provide support and/or ownership for specified Total Rewards programs including: Employee Discount program, Wellness Fairs.
  • Support compensation cycle administration (e.g., merit, bonus) and benefits open enrollment processes.
  • Partner with Total Rewards vendors and brokers to support program administration and resolve escalated issues.
  • Assist in evaluating and recommending enhancements to Total Rewards programs based on market trends and employee feedback.
  • Prepare, consolidate, and analyze Total Rewards data; participate in benchmarking.
  • Support the execution of transactional Total Rewards deliverables, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist with other Total Rewards special projects and initiatives.
  • Serve as member of departmental committees and/or teams.
  • Demonstrate FINRA’s values.
  • Collaborate, both in-person and virtually, in furtherance of FINRA’s mission of investor protection and market integrity.
