Sr HR AI Specialist - On-Site, Minneapolis, MN
About The Position
The Senior HR AI Specialist supports the Human Resources function by translating business needs into artificial intelligence and automation solutions. The role connects HR Centers of Expertise, business stakeholders, technology teams, solution architects, and external partners to design, test, and evolve AI-enabled HR experiences. It translates HR requirements and AI capabilities into scalable solutions and meaningful user experiences, combining technical business analysis, user journey design, testing, prompt engineering, and product thinking across requirements, implementation, and ongoing performance monitoring. The position is based onsite in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with up to 10% travel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- 4+ years of technical business analysis experience, including experience designing AI or automation solutions.
- Hands-on experience supporting at least one large-scale AI, machine learning (ML), automation, or enterprise chatbot implementation.
- Experience translating business requirements into technical requirements and working across business and technology teams.
- Experience developing test cases, supporting user acceptance testing, and creating technical or functional documentation.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with enterprise HR systems, HR technology, or integrating AI solutions with enterprise platforms.
- Experience with large language model (LLM) tools, prompt engineering, robotic process automation (RPA), UiPath, Moveworks, or Automation Anywhere.
- Knowledge of data privacy, data protection regulations, and responsible AI or AI ethics.
- Experience evaluating system performance, troubleshooting technical issues, and identifying opportunities to improve scalability or performance.
- Experience facilitating technical discussions and solution design decisions across engineering, data science, HR, and business stakeholder groups.
Responsibilities
- Translate HR business requirements into technical requirements in partnership with stakeholders, architects, analysts, and development teams.
- Evaluate AI and automation use cases, including solution readiness, data availability, resource requirements, and expected business outcomes.
- Design user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction models that translate AI capabilities into effective HR experiences.
- Lead solution testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), including test case development, technical documentation, and validation of quality and performance.
- Monitor AI and bot performance to improve accuracy, reliability, and user experience.
- Partner with HR Centers of Expertise (COEs), technology teams, and external vendors to align solution design, product capabilities, and emerging AI technologies with business needs.
