About the position
MXW, part of the Trailer Park Group, is seeking a talented Senior Designer to join their dynamic design team. This is a hybrid role that requires some in-office time. The Senior Designer will be responsible for leading and executing design projects, contributing to the visual identity of entertainment brands such as Disney, Universal, and Netflix. They will generate innovative design concepts, maintain brand guidelines, and collaborate closely with the Design and Client teams. The Senior Designer will also provide guidance to mid-weight and junior designers and effectively manage multiple design projects.
Responsibilities
- Multi-disciplinary design application across various mediums including key art, outdoor, in-theatre, collateral, experiential, packaging, retail, print, digital, social, style guides, and presentation materials.
- Generate innovative design concepts, ideas, and supporting mock-ups that effectively communicate the desired message to the target audience.
- Develop and maintain a consistent visual identity for stakeholders, ensuring brand guidelines are followed.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions to create inventive design solutions.
- Collaborate with the Design & Client teams to analyze project briefs and propose innovative ideas.
- Take ownership of design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards.
- Stay updated with design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
- Provide guidance to mid-weight and junior designers, review their work, offer constructive feedback, and share skills.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and allocating resources effectively.
