About the position
Trailer Park Group is seeking an experienced finishing artist to join their team in Mumbai. The role involves performing color manipulations, retouching, and photo composition for creative visuals and posters. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of RGB and CMYK workflows, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and the ability to work on multiple projects within design specifications. A Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, Advertising, or Graphic Design is expected, and previous industry experience in creating key art for film and TV is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Create and design digital collateral for digital and print
- Research assets, select photography, and mask images for design team usage
- Select colors, fonts, images, and layouts
- Make design/copy revisions on existing material and adapt creative to diverse sizes and formats
- Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner with a quality product
- Manage multiple projects within design specifications
- QA design for errors
- Implement feedback and changes whenever possible
- Take direction and constructive feedback well and perform assigned tasks in a timely and productive manner
- Articulate creative ideas with quick turnaround times
- Contribute to the overall success of a collaborative environment with a positive attitude
- Demonstrate good creative problem-solving skills and a desire to learn and assist others on the team
- Previous industry experience creating and executing key art for film and TV (preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, Advertising, or Graphic Design studies (expected)
- Provide a relevant online portfolio or PDF of current work displaying strong conceptual, design, and typography skills.
Requirements
- Proficient in RGB & CMYK workflows
- Skilled in color manipulations, retouching, photo composition, color proofs, and printer-specific color corrections or modifications
- Experience in creating and designing digital collateral for digital and print
- Knowledge of Windows/Mac OS and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Ability to take direction and constructive feedback well and perform assigned tasks in a timely and productive manner
- Strong creative problem-solving skills and the desire to learn and assist others on the team
- Previous industry experience creating and executing key art for film and TV, preferably within a fast-paced design agency setting (preferred but not mandatory)
- Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, Advertising, or Graphic Design studies
- A relevant online portfolio or PDF displaying strong conceptual, design, and typography skills
