About The Position

Walmart is seeking a Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair its facilities, equipment, and assets. The role uses multiple trade skills, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, and food equipment, along with hand tools, power tools, and other equipment. The technician supports stores and associates through the work order management system, responds promptly to emergency maintenance calls, diagnoses issues, documents repair activities, and completes required safety training.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state-issued driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record report.
• Vocational or technical certification and five years of experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or a related trade.
• One year of experience using intermediate-level word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to move up and down ladders frequently.
• Comfortable working at heights frequently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills, such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, and food equipment.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.
• Use the work order management system to receive reactive repair work orders supporting stores and store associates.
• Document repair activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
