Senior Full Stack Developer

At MetaLab, we are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with project teams to develop new features and functionality for our products. You will also work with Product and Delivery Managers to refine work definitions, provide feedback on designs, and plan future sprints. Additionally, you will review code submissions, participate in project progress shares, support the engineering department, and produce documentation. We are looking for someone with 5+ years of Full Stack experience, a deep appreciation for design, adaptability, organization, and self-motivation.

• Collaborate closely with project team to develop new features and functionality for products across frontend and backend technologies
• Work with Product and Delivery Managers to refine work definition in product backlog and provide expertise and clarity
• Provide feedback on designs for completeness, implementation effort, and feasibility
• Collaborate with Product team to plan future sprints, contribute to story definition, provide work estimates, and identify technical dependencies and blockers
• Advocate for ongoing sprint goals and motivate teams to finish sprints on time with minimal technical debt
• Review team members' code submissions for quality, correctness, consistency, and performance
• Participate in regular shares with client stakeholders on project progress and delivered features and functionality
• Share technical knowledge with project teams to support the engineering department
• Offer support to project team members stuck on technical challenges
• Produce documentation on methods, decisions, technical approaches, and other context to improve developer experience on projects

• 5+ years of Full Stack experience, in an agency setting is a bonus
• Deep appreciation of the design practice and can protect the integrity of design intent without compromising fidelity
• Responds positively to both professional and project-based feedback and is able to help the team adapt to changing priorities within fast paced projects
• Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable advocating for your needs and the needs of the project
• Experience building full-stack applications across frontend and backend technologies
