Senior Front-End Developer

This role is for an experienced and ambitious front-end developer who will be responsible for improving the quality and conversion rates of our websites, landing pages, and online coding bootcamp products. The focus will be on optimizing the user experience of our online student portal and ensuring high-speed, mobile-optimized landing pages for paid media campaigns. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams, and should have a track record of launching and driving their own projects.

• Creating the structure, template or layouts of new projects using frameworks and libraries like Bootstrap, Angular, Ember, React, Vue, Django, Jquery and material design
• Creating dynamic page layouts based on api information
• Creating responsive layouts for all device sizes
• Cross browser support for all modern browsers
• Implementing basic SEO
• Provide accurate estimates for new work and assessment for work complete
• Manage projects task in line with project workflow
• Identifying and suggesting user experience improvements
• Planning of new projects and page layouts using wireframes
• Good understanding of general user experience and be able to identify and implement changes in user experience trends
• Provide mentorship to peers and team members
• Strategic thinking around service-oriented architecture
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the teams continuous upskilling

• Relevant qualifications
• 2+ years experience in a front-end role
• Proficiency in HTML / HTML5
• Proficiency in SCSS / CSS3
• Proficiency in jQuery / Javascript
• Proficiency in Bootstrap 3 / 4
• Ability to transform designs into cross-device implementations
• Good understanding of web standards
• Good understanding of general user experience
• Ability to provide accurate estimates for new work and assessment for work complete
• Ability to manage projects task in line with project workflow
• Ability to identify and suggest user experience improvements
• Ability to plan new projects and page layouts using wireframes
• Ability to provide mentorship to peers and team members
• Strategic thinking around service-oriented architecture
• Participation in code reviews and contribution to the team's continuous upskilling
