Senior Forward Deployed Software Engineer

PhysicsX•New York, NY
•$150,000 - $250,000•Hybrid

About The Position

PhysicsX is a physics AI company building a simulation software stack to enable physics AI across the engineering lifecycle. It works with organizations in aerospace and defence, automotive, semiconductors, materials, and energy and renewables. The Senior Forward Deployed Software Engineer helps customers solve important problems by building and deploying applications powered by PhysicsX physics AI models. The role works directly with customers, data scientists, and machine learning engineers to develop applications that improve advanced engineering processes. It requires understanding complex engineering problems across industries and building useful tools to address them. The role includes travel to customer sites in North America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania for an average of 3–4 weeks per quarter, working closely with customers on-site. The position may require access to information protected by U.S. export control laws and regulations; an employment offer may be conditioned on authorization to receive controlled software or technology without sponsorship for an export license. The position is based on a hybrid model that combines time in the New York office with work-from-home days. The salary range is $150,000–$250,000, depending on experience. Seniority is assessed during the interview process.
