About The Position
A late-stage, venture-backed enterprise AI company is seeking engineers to build and run AI agents within large customers’ systems. The engineer owns integration, prompts, evaluations, and iteration from deployment through ongoing operation, with no handoff to another team. Mural Group is recruiting for this role on behalf of a client.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in software, consulting, AI/ML, or forward deployed engineering.
- Proficiency in Python and Go.
- Experience with agent frameworks, function calling, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
- Experience with one major cloud platform, CI/CD, and containers.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
Nice To Haves
- Hands-on prompt engineering experience.
- Experience building agent or RAG systems.
Responsibilities
- Build, configure, and deploy AI agents for enterprise customers.
- Integrate agents with customer APIs, databases, and CRMs.
- Tune and troubleshoot agents on live traffic.
- Run demos and proofs of concept, and own milestones through launch.
- Bring field lessons back to the product team and build internal tools.
