Senior Forward Deployed Engineer
About The Position
Vytwo is hiring a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, Data & AI, to partner directly with enterprise clients and deliver tailored data and AI solutions in customer environments. The role involves designing, building, and implementing data pipelines, machine learning models, and AI-driven workflows; serving as the technical liaison between clients and internal engineering teams; and resolving complex production issues. The engineer will also lead technical discovery, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept builds, advise clients on data architecture and AI best practices, and relay client feedback to product and engineering teams. The position is listed for candidates based in the US or India and is 100% remote, with travel to client sites as needed. Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a forward deployed, solutions engineering, or senior data/AI engineering role.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern data stack tools such as Spark, dbt, and Airflow.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and AI/LLM technologies such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and OpenAI APIs.
- Experience deploying solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first, consultative mindset.
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed.
Responsibilities
- Partner directly with enterprise clients to understand technical requirements and deploy tailored Data & AI solutions.
- Design, build, and implement end-to-end data pipelines, machine learning models, and AI-driven workflows in customer environments.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between client stakeholders and internal engineering teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration, deployment, and performance issues in production environments.
- Conduct technical discovery sessions, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept builds to accelerate client adoption.
- Provide expert guidance on data architecture, LLMs, machine learning, and AI best practices.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to surface client feedback and influence the roadmap.
