About The Position

URBN is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join its Supply Chain Finance team. The role supports the Global Supply Chain Transportation team through financial analysis, schedules, and tracking of ongoing operations and new initiatives. It works with cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance, support business decisions, and ensure compliance with financial controls and policies.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience in financial modeling and applying budgeting techniques.
• Ability to interpret financial results effectively and derive alternative insights.
• Proficient Excel skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and critical-thinking ability.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Supply Chain, Operations Finance, or Distribution.
• Understanding of month-end close processes, including accrual accounting, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Experience with financial systems, ERPs, and reporting tools, such as Oracle EBS or Hyperion.
• Knowledge of and familiarity with distribution, transportation, and manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and support the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting processes.
• Audit and monitor Supply Chain and financial information systems to support financial analyses.
• Maintain, create, and distribute financial reports and analyses generated by the Company’s freight audit and payment system.
• Support and maintain Supply Chain Finance processes and internal controls, and provide training and SOPs as applicable.
• Partner with Transportation, Brand Operations, and Finance teams on projects and strategies as required.
• Analyze actual results and investigate and explain variances versus budget and the previous year.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in the narrative behind financial results.
• Prepare board-level materials and schedules as applicable.
• Assist with preparing monthly Supply Chain KPI schedules for review and evaluation.
• Provide ad hoc financial analyses as requested by Supply Chain, Brand, and Corporate Finance teams.
