About The Position

The Senior Field Service Technician for Donaldson Filtration Services inspects, diagnoses, and repairs dust collection systems and supports customers across industries including manufacturing, mining, agriculture, and power. The primary geographic responsibility is the Southeastern district, including GA, TN, NC, SC, AL, FL, and TX. The position is based in LaGrange, Georgia, and candidates should be located near there. Overnight travel is estimated at 25%. The role includes work in varied industrial conditions and is overtime eligible under applicable state and federal regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 10 years of maintenance, repair, or related experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be able to wear a respirator.
• Must be able to travel, including overnight travel estimated at 25%.
• Must pass physical requirements evaluation.
• Must be able to use an iPad for work order and time management.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and organized.
• Ability to work independently and with a group.
• Applicants must be currently and legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future immigration sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with industrial ventilation, compressed air services, electric motors, fans, and three-phase power.
• At least 3 years of experience, preferably in industrial maintenance and/or as a millwright.
• General industrial maintenance experience.
• Forklift experience; certification will be provided by Donaldson.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance and general maintenance services on industrial ventilation systems and other filtration equipment.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and coworkers through effective oral and written communication by phone, computer, and face-to-face.
• Represent the company as the direct customer contact.
• Continually enforce safety to the highest standards.
• Maintain service records using field service management software and a computer.
• Maintain inventory in the stock room and service trucks.
