About The Position

Strategically orchestrate CEO Olivia’s time, reach, capacity, and impact, ensuring nothing that passes through her office gets dropped and that she is prepared for every meeting. Supporting Olivia is the role’s first priority. The position also expands into special projects, people operations, and office management alongside the Head of People as the company grows. This is a true partnership in which the CEO delegates outcomes, values the assistant’s perspective, and expects candid communication and clear mutual expectations. This is a hybrid role with expected on-site days Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at the Oakland office. The position requires availability for time-sensitive issues outside standard business hours when needed. The role owns the CEO’s calendar, inbox, correspondence, investor operations, decision follow-through, meeting and company-event production, travel, and board administrative logistics. It also partners with operations leadership on CEO-led projects and works with the fractional CFO on finance operations and information flow. Office management is owned from day one, with people operations responsibilities growing over time in partnership with the Head of People. The salary range is $120,000–$145,000, depending on experience and level, plus meaningful equity.
