Senior Employer Brand Specialist

Klaviyo•Boston, MA

About The Position

Klaviyo is seeking a Senior Employer Brand Specialist to own recruitment marketing execution across social media, its career site, and job boards. The role translates the employer brand narrative established by the Internal Communications team into campaigns, content, and candidate-facing experiences, while using market and hiring-funnel insights to help shape future content and strategy. This is a new function for the team, and the specialist will establish its operating model and rhythm, manage channels and budget, oversee vendor relationships, and assess performance with significant autonomy. The role partners with Internal Communications, Experience, and Talent Acquisition to keep recruitment marketing aligned with the broader employer brand and hiring priorities.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in recruitment marketing, employer brand, or performance marketing.
  • Experience building or running a recruitment marketing function from the ground up.
  • Ability to interpret hiring trends, candidate feedback, competitive employer brand activity, and hiring-funnel signals and turn them into concrete content ideas.
  • Experience independently managing budgets and vendor relationships.
  • Ability to create or direct video, social, and candidate-facing storytelling.
  • Working design skills and ability to produce clean, on-brand creative assets using tools such as Figma, Canva, or Adobe Express.
  • Ability to analyze campaign and funnel performance and use the findings to make decisions.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to work within an established narrative while contributing a point of view on future content.
  • Comfort operating autonomously with minimal oversight and defining a new function while executing its work.
  • Proficiency with GSuite and Slack.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with career-site platforms.
  • Experience with ad platforms, including LinkedIn Campaign Manager and job-board advertising tools.
  • Experience with lightweight design and content-production tools.

Responsibilities

  • Own recruitment marketing strategy execution across social media, the career site, and job boards, and establish the function’s operating approach.
  • Analyze market conditions and Talent Acquisition insights, including hiring trends, candidate sentiment, competitive employer brand activity, and funnel data, to inform content and campaign timing.
  • Govern career-site content, job distribution, page performance, and analytics.
  • Execute paid social and recruitment advertising campaigns across LinkedIn, job boards, and other targeted channels.
  • Produce recruitment marketing content, including video, social content, and candidate-facing storytelling.
  • Create quick-turn ad creative and social assets in-house, including banners, graphics, and simple video or motion edits; engage brand agency partners for larger or more complex work.
  • Analyze campaign and recruitment marketing performance and refine strategy based on results.
  • Manage the recruitment marketing budget and channel vendor relationships.
  • Own job-posting strategy and optimization across channels.
  • Partner with Internal Communications and Experience to translate the employer brand narrative into consistent recruitment marketing and provide market and funnel insights that inform the narrative.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on funnel performance, requisition-level needs, and hiring priorities.
  • Coordinate career-site content updates and consistency with other communications channels.
