About the position
The job overview for this role is that Kin is seeking a seasoned Performance Marketer to join and lead their Growth Marketing Team. As the Senior Director of Acquisition Marketing, the successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring new customers, optimizing channel strategies, and driving business growth. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage insights and data to develop actionable acquisition marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in growth marketing, experience managing and developing teams, and proficiency across various marketing channels.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of performance marketers to acquire new customers
- Design and optimize channel-specific strategies for sustainable and efficient acquisition metrics
- Drive growth by identifying channel innovation opportunities and designing tests to optimize audiences, creative, landing page experience, customer journey, and overall channel operations
- Develop contemporary digital capabilities to propel business growth
- Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional partners to deliver growth
- Translate insights and data into actionable acquisition marketing strategies
- Leverage creative and design to fuel campaign performance
- Manage marketing budgets focused on business outcomes
- Work with internal partners and media agencies
- Build and iterate on Performance Marketing strategy in existing markets
- Oversee paid digital advertising and ensure channel strategies are aligned to business priorities
- Collaborate with various teams to build holistic strategies for new markets
- Champion new channel opportunities for efficient and profitable acquisitions
- Provide feedback on segmented communication strategy to Lifecycle Marketing team members
- Share recent learnings and their impact on future strategy during Monthly Business Review
- Manage a lean internal brand team on an interim basis
- Have 8+ years of experience in a growth marketing role in high-growth direct-to-consumer Fintech or InsureTech businesses
- Possess proficiency across a broad array of channels including but not limited to Search, Paid social, Programmatic display, TV, Email, Direct mail, etc.
- Have 5+ years of experience in hiring, managing, and developing a team of direct reports
- Have a track record of developing growth strategies that result in tangible business success
- Bonus Points: Experience working at a fast-paced growth-stage startup, experience working in financial services or regulated industries, experience managing paid social, experience working with consumer acquisition funnels where phone sales, following lead.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in a growth marketing role in high-growth direct to consumer Fintech or InsureTech businesses
- Proficiency across a broad array of channels including but not limited to Search, Paid social, Programmatic display, TV, Email, Direct mail etc. with ownership of budgets, and outcomes
- 5+ years hiring, managing and developing a team of direct reports
- Track record of developing growth strategies that result in tangible business success
