About The Position

This is a rare opportunity to join Monash University as Senior Director, Integrated Philanthropy, shaping and leading a bold, integrated philanthropy agenda that accelerates impact at a global scale. As a key role within the Advancement Leadership Team, the Senior Director is responsible for securing significant philanthropic revenue through large‑scale, high‑value external partnerships that advance the University’s ambitions. The Senior Director will lead the development and execution of an integrated philanthropy strategy, encompassing Principal and Transformational Giving, Major Gift Philanthropy, Foundation Relations and Planned Giving. This pivotal role plays a central part in expanding Monash’s transformational partnerships aligned to the Monash Impact 2030 priorities, driving forward growth and diversification of new philanthropic funding opportunities, enhancing the donor experience and positioning the University as a truly international institution of scale and impact. The successful candidate will be a highly accomplished senior fundraiser and partnership leader with a proven track record of securing major, principal and transformational gifts and building enduring relationships with philanthropists, foundations and private funders. The Senior Director will lead, inspire and coach high‑performing teams, foster a collaborative and values‑based culture, and operate confidently across a complex, matrixed environment. Working closely with university leadership, senior academics and external stakeholders, the Senior Director will provide strategic advice, guide the development of programmatic partnerships, and support the delivery of a comprehensive campaign that accelerates Monash’s mission and impact for the communities it serves.

Requirements

  • Highly accomplished senior fundraiser and partnership leader.
  • Proven track record of securing major, principal and transformational gifts.
  • Proven track record of building enduring relationships with philanthropists, foundations and private funders.
