The Director of Philanthropy identifies and cultivates prospective donors from communities within the hospital’s service territory for the purpose of soliciting major gifts. The Director nurtures donor relationships through regular contact, communication, and recognition, and develops and maintains relationships with hospital/clinic-affiliated Shriners Temples and the community for the purpose of fundraising. They are responsible for following and fulfilling the objectives and goals developed by the Executive Director of Location Philanthropy and Chief Philanthropy Officer. The position requires the willingness and ability to travel as needed and occasionally work evenings and weekends when necessary. The is a remote position that requires the willingness and ability to travel as needed and occasionally work evenings and weekends as needed, meeting with donors, Shrine Temples and Clubs to advocate for the mission of the hospital. Travel is estimated at 25% - 30%.
