About The Position

The Cisco Strategic Alliances team is a critical enabler to scale Cisco's most strategic partnerships from bespoke engagements into repeatable, high-impact growth engines. As the scale and depth of our Alliances portfolio expands, execution complexity increases exponentially. The Cisco Strategic Alliances team plays the critical role of institutionalizing discipline, aligning diverse stakeholders across business units, geographies, and partner ecosystems, driving measurable outcomes, and ensuring our alliances deliver against enterprise growth objectives without fragmentation or unrealized value. As the centralized operations leader for Strategic Alliances, you will drive rigor, predictability, and growth by aligning business units, geographies, and partner ecosystems. You will lead a team of operations managers to eliminate fragmentation and ensure unified execution across our portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field (e.g., Operations Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related technical field) or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience with significant leadership experience in Alliance operations, strategic partnerships, corporate strategy, or business operations within the technology sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale operating systems, governance models, and commercial frameworks for complex, multi-faceted partnerships.
  • Expertise in managing complex enterprise ecosystems, mitigating cross-functional friction, and driving measurable ROI.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, with a proven track record of driving alignment and decision-making among senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA degree from a world-class institution or equivalent experience.
  • Deep domain expertise in working with hyperscalers, AI leaders, and complex technology licensing/monetization models.
  • Strong analytical and financial abilities to track investments, build dashboards, and manage sophisticated business issues with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a robust framework for MBRs, QBRs, and Steering company to drive decision velocity and executive alignment.
  • Establish a unified commercial framework, including KPIs, Joint Business Plans (JBPs), and investment tracking to ensure measurable ROI.
  • Proactively handle risks, cross-functional dependencies, and friction to maintain operational speed at scale.
  • Lead the execution strategy for key hyperscaler and semiconductor partnerships to maximize long-term value.
